raised sustainably and ethically.

Same Meat, New Bar for Animal Welfare

  • Proposition 12 Verified. Our animals are raised according to California Proposition 12 standards.

  • Antibiotic Free (ABF). Our ABF program raises calves without antibiotics.

  • Climate-controlled, spacious barns. Animal housing has 43 square feet of resting space for each animal.

  • No Synthetic Hormones. Each animal is raised on a milk diet, with grain and roughage to satisfy their natural chewing instincts.

  • Sustainably Raised. Our animals are raised on repurposed milk proteins and animal by-product is repurposed for fertilizer.

  • Small Family Farmers. Veal is one of the few meats that’s raised in the United States almost exclusively by small family farmers. When you’re buying veal, you’re supporting small businesses and families.

Praise from Restaurants

It all starts with the humane raising of the product. When they’re like that, you just know they’re going to be putting in the time to protect flavor.
